Shipping and Returns Policy
Everything at Good Hands is grown, made and packed by hand on our family orchard in the Wairarapa. Because we're a small operation, here's exactly how shipping works so you know what to expect.
Where we ship
We currently ship within New Zealand only.
How payment and dispatch work
We take payment by bank transfer. When you place an order, you'll receive our bank details and an order reference. Once your payment has cleared, we carefully pack and send your order usually the same day or the next working day. Orders are not dispatched until payment has been received.
Shipping cost
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order. Shipping is free on orders over $60. Orders under $60 are charged a flat rate of $8 or rural $10.
Delivery times
Once dispatched, most New Zealand orders arrive within [2–5] working days, depending on your location and the courier. Rural deliveries may take a little longer. We'll do our best to keep you updated, and you're always welcome to email us to check on an order.
Fresh and seasonal items
Some of our products, fresh fruit and fresh yuzu leaves, are seasonal and picked to order. We time dispatch to send these as fresh as possible, which occasionally means a short wait for the right picking window. If anything will take longer than usual, we'll be in touch.
If something goes wrong
We pack everything with care, but if your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or doesn't turn up, please email us at hello@goodhands.co within 2 days of receiving it (or of the expected delivery date) and we'll make it right. Please include your order reference and, for damaged items, a photo if you can it helps us sort things quickly.
Gifts
Sending an order as a gift? Tick gift wrap in your cart and add your message, we'll wrap it and handwrite your note before it's sent.
