Privacy Policy

Good Hands ("we", "us", "our") is a family orchard based in the Wairarapa, New Zealand. We respect your privacy and only collect what we need to send you good fruit and stay in touch. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We handle your personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect
When you order or get in touch, we may collect: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number, and the details of your order. If you register interest in a future season, join our newsletter, or ask to be notified when something's back in stock, we collect your email and what you're interested in. We do not collect or store your bank details — payment is made by direct bank transfer between you and us.

How we use it
We use your information to: process and send your orders; contact you about your order; let you know when seasonal produce is available (if you've asked us to); send occasional news and offers (if you've signed up); and answer your enquiries. That's it — we're a small orchard, not a data business.

Our online store
Our website runs on Shopify, which stores our store data and helps us run the shop. Shopify may collect certain information automatically through cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and secure. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We only share it where we have to in order to run the orchard: with Shopify (our website platform), with our courier or postal service (to deliver your order), and with any email tool we use to send newsletters you've signed up for. If the law requires us to share information, we will.

Keeping it safe
We take reasonable care to protect your information and keep it only as long as we need it — to fulfil your order, meet our legal and tax obligations, and stay in touch if you've asked us to.

Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails any time using the link in the email. You can also ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@goodhands.co. We'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be here on our website.
